At PRA we do research into the effects and possible side-effects of medicines. We do this with the help of volunteers: both healthy people and patients. Research on human subjects is a compulsory step in the development of new medicines before they can be launched on the market. The purpose of this website is to clearly explain to volunteers at PRA what they can expect, what the research involves, and what compensation they will receive in return. You can also sign up here straight away. As a volunteer, you will be doing important work, because... without research there will be no new medicines.
